Duration: up to 8 hours
North of "Whale Coast" lie the Sredny and Rybachy peninsulas — a world of striking Arctic landscapes and salty winds stretching dozens of kilometers into the Barents Sea. These places are perfect for ATV and buggy rides. Choose your direction (during the adventure you’ll visit one of the peninsulas) and your vehicle, put on waterproof and windproof gear — and off we go!
Depending on the route, the trip lasts 6−8 hours. In Soviet times, Sredny Peninsula was a restricted military zone. Its highlights include the sacred seids Two Brothers and the Red Stones Coast. The culmination of the Rybachy route is Cape Nemetsky — the northernmost point of mainland European Russia — and Cape Kekursky, where 100-meter cliffs reveal the true power of the endless northern waters.
We’ll bring packed lunches and stop for a picnic right in the middle of the tundra.
