Tour Schedule
THE “Magic of the Sredny” Тour
Today you will set off on a journey in a specialized vehicle designed for passenger transport in the extreme conditions of the Far North — the Trekol all-terrain vehicle. Guests truly enjoy this type of travel, as it offers not only the opportunity to take unique photographs but also a comfortable ride in its soft, cozy interior, regardless of how challenging the terrain may be.
Imagine the edge of the world, where two thirty-meter stone giants rise above the сурging waters of the Barents Sea like ancient guardians frozen in eternal silence. The "Two Brothers" rock formation on the Kola Peninsula is not just a natural landmark — it is a gateway into the world of Saami legends, where reality intertwines with magic.
Ten thousand years ago, an epic battle between powerful shaman-noaidi is said to have taken place here. The victor turned his enemies into stone, and they have stood ever since, guarding ancient secrets. For the Saami people, this place was considered sacred — a site of mystical rituals and spiritual power.
According to legend, one may pass between these rock pillars only in one direction — from the sea toward the mountain — and many travelers truly feel something inexplicable in this place.
At sunset, the "Two Brothers" turn into the silhouettes of fairy-tale giants, while a soft carpet of tundra stretches out around them. Majestic waves crash against the bizarre cliffs resembling the walls of an ancient castle, and the air fills with the cries of northern seabirds and the profound silence of the Arctic. This is a place where time seems to stand still, and the soul is filled with both peace and awe before the greatness of nature.
Everyone who embarks on this journey is given a unique opportunity to touch the living history of the indigenous peoples of the North, to take breathtaking photographs, and to experience the very mystical sensations described in Saami legends. Here, you will come face to face with these silent guardians, preserving the memory of thousands of years.
Nearby lies a shore made up of reddish stones of unusual shapes. The high iron content gives them their distinctive color, which is how the coast got its name. The area is also remarkable because opposite it lie the protected Ainovy Islands, where eider ducks listed in the Red Book and puffins with their striking plumage nest.
In November, seals come ashore on these coasts to give birth to their pups. And who knows — during your walk along the picturesque Red Stone Coast, you might be lucky enough to see a baby seal together with its mother…
